Kickoff the garden season at this workshop and volunteer training session!
If you're looking to get more involved in your community, learn how to grow a prolific vegetable garden, or meet others interested in food growing, food security, and environmental stewardship, we have the event for you!
Our March kickoff event features an hour of learning and an hour of volunteer information and training. At 6pm, The GardenWorks Project Program Manager, Amanda Bryant, will share tips for getting your vegetable garden off to a healthy start this spring. At 7pm, learn about GardenWorks' volunteer opportunities this garden season.
You'll also learn more about our annual membership program, The Food Growers Network, and leave with 10 free seed packets and a tote bag when you sign up for only $25! Your donation supports GardenWorks programming to build food security throughout the western suburbs.
